Prof. Dr. Sujit Dharmpatre Director, MIT-SICS Ph.D.(E & TC-Microwave Engineering), M.Tech.(E & TC), M.A.(History) II Year Experience: 24+ years

Dr. Sujit Dharmpatre

Dr. Sujit Dharmpatre holds a Ph.D. in Electronics and Telecommunication (Microwave Engineering) from the College of Engineering, Pune (COEP), where he also completed his M. Tech. in the same field. His doctoral research focused on Microstrip Antennas. He has professional experience working on the Satellite C-Band Receiver project at the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), Bangalore.

Dr. Dharmpatre is an alumnus of the State Institute of Administrative Services (SIAC), Mumbai, where he began his UPSC preparation, and later of Vajiram & Ravi, New Delhi, one of the premier coaching institutes. He successfully cleared two UPSC Civil Services Mains examinations and appeared for the Personality Test (Interview) once.

He is the author of the widely recognized book “Modern Indian History” for UPSC aspirants. With over 15 years of experience in mentoring UPSC candidates, he continues to guide and inspire students in their journey towards civil services.

Prof. Arun Tupe Assistant Professor, MIT-SICS B.E. (IT), M.Sc. (Environ. Sci), MH-SET Experience: 3+ years

Prof. Arun Tupe

Prof. Arun Tupe is an Assistant Professor at the MIT School of Indian Civil Services, MIT-ADT University, Pune, where he teaches Geography (Optional) and mentors students aspiring for civil services. He plays a key role in academic administration, examination coordination, quality assurance, and student mentoring, while also guiding learners through the institute’s B.A. Administration and M.A. Public Administration programs.

An alumnus of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad, where he earned his B.E. in Information Technology, Prof. Tupe later pursued an M.Sc. in Environmental Science from IGNOU and is currently completing his M.Tech. in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence from IIT Patna. He has also qualified the UGC SET in Environmental Science.

Prof. Tupe’s academic journey is complemented by his extensive civil services experience. He has appeared in the UPSC Civil Services Mains examination five times and has also reached the CAPF Assistant Commandant interview stage, reflecting his perseverance and deep understanding of competitive exam preparation.

Alongside his academic career, he has worked as a faculty and mentor with reputed institutions such as Chanakya IAS Academy and PWOnlyIAS, contributing to teaching and evaluation. His areas of interest include climate change, sustainable development, urban heat islands, and the application of AI in education.

With over eight years of teaching experience in UPSC, MPSC, and other competitive exams, Prof. Tupe integrates academic knowledge, examination strategy, and mentoring skills to inspire and support aspirants in their civil services journey.

Prof. Sagar Kshirsagar Assistant Professor, MIT-SICS B.E. (Mechanical), M.A. (Political Science), UGC –NET Experience: 3+ years

Prof. Sagar Kshirsagar

Prof. Sagar Kshirsagar is an Assistant Professor at the MIT School of Indian Civil Services, (MIT ADT University) where he mentors and guides students through the institute’s flagship B.A. Administration and M.A. Public Administration programs. These programs are carefully designed to prepare aspirants for the civil services examinations while building strong foundations in governance and public policy.

An alumnus of MIT College of Engineering, Pune in Mechanical Engineering, Prof. Kshirsagar worked in the industry for three years before dedicating himself to civil services preparation. His journey reflects perseverance and excellence, having reached the UPSC Civil Services Interview stage five times. In 2015, he was also selected for the post of Assistant Central Intelligence Officer in the Intelligence Bureau, Ministry of Home Affairs, a testament to his caliber and commitment to serving the nation.

Beyond his own achievements, Prof. Kshirsagar has dedicated himself to shaping the journeys of future aspirants. He has worked with leading institutions such as Vision IAS and Forum IAS as a Content Coordinator, and has mentored students at Dnyandip Academy, Pune. With his vast teaching and mentoring experience, he combines academic rigor, practical examination strategies, and real-world insights to inspire and guide civil services aspirants in achieving their goals.

Prof. Dr. Aparajita Morde Assistant Professor, MIT-SICS Ph D (History) from JNU, Delhi Experience: 1+ years

Prof. Dr. Aparajita Morde

Dr. Aparajita Morde is a dedicated educator and researcher specializing in the rich traditions of Ancient Indian History and Art History. She holds dual M.A. degrees one in Ancient Indian History and Culture from Deccan College, Pune, and another in History from IGNOU. She has completed her M.Phil. and Ph.D. in Art History from the School of Arts and Aesthetics (SAA), Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi.

Dr. Morde previously served as a faculty member in the Department of History at Fergusson College, Pune, and gained valuable experience working with Wiley, a global academic publishing firm, for 1.5 years. At MIT School of Civil Services, she equips civil service aspirants with a deep understanding of India’s historical and cultural heritage, helping them build strong foundations for their exams and future careers.

Her research interests include Indian temple architecture, iconography, visual culture, and the historiography of Indian art.

Prof. Vikas Kolekar Assistant Professor, MIT-SICS B.E. (E & TC), M.A. (Politics), UGC- NET Experience: 1+ years

Prof. Vikas Kolekar

Prof. Vikas Kolekar serves as an Assistant Professor at the MIT School of Indian Civil Services, MIT-ADT University, where he plays a pivotal role in mentoring and guiding students enrolled in the institute’s flagship B.A. Administration and M.A. Public Administration programs. With his expertise in Political Science, Ethics in Administration, and Public Policy, he contributes significantly to shaping the academic and professional foundations of future leaders.

An alumnus of VIT Mumbai, Prof. Kolekar began his academic journey as an Assistant Professor at LTCOE, Navi Mumbai, teaching Signals and Systems and Mobile Communication. Motivated by a larger vision of public service, he pursued the UPSC Civil Services Examination, successfully reaching the Interview stage a testament to his perseverance, discipline, and deep commitment to nation-building. His experiences extend beyond classrooms as he has actively collaborated with UPSC coaching institutes and NGOs in Ladakh (LAHDC), working tirelessly for the educational empowerment of students in challenging regions.

Academically, he holds an M.A. in Politics (Honors) from the University of Mumbai and has also cleared the prestigious UGC-NET in Political Science and International Relations. This strong academic foundation, combined with his practical exposure, enables him to bridge the gap between theory and practice in civil services preparation.
