Author: Dr. DP Agarwal, (Former chairman of UPSC Union Public service commission, India. Currently Chairman of the Advisory Board of MITSICS in MIT ADT University, Rajbaug, Loni, Pune, Maharashtra, India.) October 21,2021 by MIT ADT

Dear parents, I am taking this opportunity to talk to you because as a parent I always thought what the career of my child in future should be. MIT SICS has come up with a novel concept wherein students who are desirous to become the part of the development process of this country, who want to become the part of the top bureaucracy setup, those who want to become personnel of Indian Administrative Service or Indian Police Service or any cadre of government of India or any State like Maharashtra.

MIT ADT University have designed an educational learning environment which will empower your child to convert from a bright young man to a thinker to an innovator as well as to become a leader who will contribute to the growth and development of the country. You all know that your child should develop a personality. Change from school to teenage to young age and that transformation we at MITADT’s MIT-SICS understand.

Dear parents, we understand that your child has to stand up on his own legs, to be heard by people, to be appreciated by them and therefore we have inculcated modules on personality development, modules on holistic development, where the student will become confident, become honest and enable to decide and choose what is the best for him and the nation.

The second point you as a parent want is that your child should get a subject degree which is acceptable by the world universities, which is acceptable by not one department but many. And therefore, the program which MITADT SICS offer with three-year BA degree course and two-year MA post -graduate course in Administration is very powerful and I assure you that once child completes it, there would be lot of demands for him by universities abroad, by the best universities in the country and depend upon what interest are, he can even migrate to different kind of courses.

But as I mention to you that as a parent, you want to get your child educated and to be placed for career in civil services, and that is the core point of this program that while we at MIT ADT SICS will give you. Through our program BA in Administration, we are inculcating in students the capacity to be successful in the best of the competitive examination in the country and as all dream that they should clear the toughest of the examination - the civil service examination conducted by UPSC. Effort of the faculties and effort of the university is to see that in three years or two years time your ward or a child is ready to be successful in such a difficult examination.

The advantages are many, not only he would be preparing for civil service examination for UPSC but the state public service examination will be also prepared. Also, the culture in the practice, he get to face the competitive exam will going to be life time successful for him which nobody else give.

You might say people do have lot of BA programs in administration they should go there, they also charge very little but as we know neither they are of quality nor they offer what we wish through this program. Nobody says that you will be successful for civil services examination. All they say is you study and then take coaching. We are not doing that. We are bringing all-round empowerment of the students, future career in multiple directions, 90% more possibility in civil service exam and many more such opportunities.

I therefore urge all parents to come to MITADT Campus talk to the director and the faculties and see for yourself that the quality of life and environment your child would have of serene campus. The campus is vibratory in Indian-ness. You will never get it anywhere.

I therefore urge you to come in large numbers to MITADT SICS that they would restrict the program to about 60 students. There is a great demand for such programme. They would talk to you when you come here and make you able to take a decision. Nobody offers this support to you. Come soon, come quickly and ensure a bright future for your ward and child.
