Founder, Executive President, MAEER's MIT Group of Institutions, Pune, India.
The MIT Group of Institutions, Pune, is deeply inspired by Swami Vivekananda's vision: “The union of Science and Religion/Spirituality alone will bring peace to mankind.” With the establishment of the World Peace Centre, MIT Pune, in 1996, we took a pioneering step to unite science and spirituality in the pursuit of world peace. India, often hailed as the "Knowledge Corridor of the World," holds a pivotal role in leading this union. By nurturing knowledgeable, motivated, and spiritually inclined youth, we believe India can lead the global movement toward establishing a "Culture of Peace."
The establishment of the MIT School of Indian Civil Services under MIT Art, Design, and Technology University is our effort to shape the next generation of administrators—mentally strong, physically fit, stress-free, and spiritually elevated, with an unwavering commitment to national service. This unique initiative reflects MIT's dedication to pioneering academic excellence and shaping future leaders who will drive positive change in India’s democratic institutions. I encourage all ambitious and educated youth to join us in this mission to build a stronger, more vibrant India.
