Eligibility

B.A.- Administration M.A.- Public Administration Provisional Admission

50% in 12 th in HSC (10+2) examination in any stream. OR 50% in three years Diploma of Board of Technical Education (OR) 45% (in case of candidates of backward class categories and persons with disability)

Attendance Criteria during the Graduation:

The 75% attendance is mandatory. The student shall be permitted to proceed on vacation only on genuine reasons which will include medical emergency and other calamities.
Desirable Attendance: Students are expected to stay in hostel during the winter and summer vacations, so that they can devote more time for their studies. The teachers shall also be available for personal doubt clearing sessions during the vacations.

Eligibility:

The eligibility of the BA Programme is 10+2 std. from any stream with minimum 50% marks (5% relaxation for reserved categories) to appear for the personal interview. The merit list for the admission is the average of the marks of HSC aggregate marks and personal interview marks.

The eligibility of the MA Programme is graduation from any stream with minimum 50% marks (5% relaxation for reserved categories) to appear for the personal interview. The merit list for the admission is the average of the marks of Graduation Final aggregate marks and personal interview marks.

Graduation in any Stream with 50 % Mark

Entrance Exam Test for M.A. (Administration):

Entrance Test will be of 100 marks. The paper shall include 50 multiple choice questions. The syllabus shall cover following topics.

  • Current Events. (National & International)
  • General Issues on Environment
  • English
  • Data interpretation
  • Logical Reasoning
  • General Mental Ability
  • Polity, Geography & History of India. (up to the XII Standard)

The syllabus for the Entrance Test shall be displayed on the university website well in advance.

Student who will appearing for HSC (10+2) from any stream OR the final year of the Diploma of Board of Technical education (after 10) in the academic year 2022-23 and the final year of graduation will be given Provisional Admission till their 12 th and final year results get declared and they fulfil the basic criteria required for the course.

Students who have studied 'Political Science', 'Geography', 'History', 'Economics' and Sociology at Graduation level with 'English' will be given preference.
